I'm pretty careful not to shoot at anything that shoots back without wearing the right stuff (steel plates can be mean). However, my Springer Champion did reprimand me once for no good reason. The ejector broke off while firing defensive ammunition and for some unknown reason it flew straight back and embedded in my forehead, right between my eyes. It's an internal ejector and the broken section had a bubble in it....crappy pot metal. I had it replaced and the incident did not recur.
