    Gun weight?

What do you dirt bird shooters realistically want your gun to weigh for these disciplines??? I ask since I know heavier is fine as the sports are slightly stationary... I also ask since my little short guns are light and I would consider them useless for serious swing sports... Brent

Better or Worse Bullet Weight for Semi? .30-06

In Remington semi auto loaders, do they tend to prefer the lighter bullet weights or heavier as a rule of thumb? For accuracy? Any reduced felt recoil from the lighter bullets? I expect there to still be plenty of knock down from any of these weights on hogs and deer... Brent

    7400 Rem .243 VALUE?

Just looked at a Remington 7400 in .243 that is kind of tickling my fancy... It has to be +90% on the outside... Owner is asking $600 but I won't pay that no matter the value... To me it is a $400-500 max... It has a scope that would immediately come off as I prefer irons and this is a wimpy...

So today I had to buy some 3 inch buckshot (all they had) for my 20 gauge Mossberg 500 as my double gun depicted in this thread has only a 2 3/4 inch chamber... I only loaded them in the gun to represent the risk that the wrong shells can fit in a gun with too short of a chamber... Here is the...

    ECS... Enhanced Combat Shotgun

Since "tactical" is a mindset and assault leans towards being on the offense, I offer the following... We have EBR or "Enhanced Battle Rifle" to describe the modern semi auto with mil style features... Maybe something like Enhanced Combat Shotgun or ECS would better describe these shotguns...

How about this big ol' diamond back... He is 8 1/2' according to the story with it... I don't think they get much bigger than that... Reckon you would hear that rattle??? I am guessing the fangs could be an inch or more in length and the venom gland could hold grams rather than milligrams of...
