    6x45mm AR Chambering

Olympic Arms used to have a custom 6x45mm offering, but no longer offers it. Does anyone know who does?

    6x45mm Question

Is the 6x45mm restricted to lighter boattails or can 100+ gr bullets be used? Overall bullet length? Will it take up case capacity using heavier bullets? Can 5.56mm magazines be used as is or is a follower swap needed? Can't make up my mind between the 6.5mm Grendel or the 6mm...

    Dillon RL 550

Just aquired a Dillon RL 550. Ordered an owner's manual. Will this model make handgun as well as rifle reloads? Shotgun shells? Is it make specific or are the dies universal? What is the difference in tumbler medias?

    30-30 AI Questions

What is the heaviest boattail bullet I can use, and what kind of velocity can I expect to achieve (not full throttle as they tend to lose accuracy...10% shy of max) with a 24" Contender barrel?

    Identical Weight/BCs Fly Same?

Can I use SSTs and Interbonds of the same weight and ballistic coefficiency interchangeably with the same results? I would like to be able to use SSTs for deer and antelope, and switch to interbonds for elk or black bear.

    Tools For Necking Down

What tools would I need to turn 30-06 Spg brass into 280 Rem?

    Recoil Reducing

What are some of the better recoil reducers (other than porting/ muzzle brake) that can bring the recoil of a magnum down closer to that of a 270 Win/ 30-06 Spg? Intending on getting a T/C Encore and would like to chamber in 7mm Rem Mag or 300 Win Mag. Not so sure I would like the recoil out of...

    Elk/Black Bear Interbond?

After some more consideration I think I'd rather get a 280 Rem for hunting pronghorn to elk and black bear. I intended on using an SST for antelope and deer, and jump up to the Interbond for elk and bear. The heaviest weight Hornady offers both is 154 grns. No need to remember different...

    Range of Pronghorn Hunting

Having just driven through the desert near the mountains I noticed many pronghorn in small groups out in open country. I've read that they have exellent eyesight, which they rely heavily on, and what I recall having read concerning hunting them were small to medium caliber magnums being used...

    Double Tap Controlled Expansion

Anyone use their Controlled Expansion HPs? How do they mushroom? Reliability of the mushroom and feed in pistol? Noticed offering in 40S&W with a 200 grainer. Looks impressive. Anyone use it?

    Varmint Worthy?

How well would AMax or BTHP Match bullets work on varmints in intermediate cartridges such as the 5.56mm NATO heavier weights (68-77) to the 6.5mm Grendel or 6.8mm SPC?

Pistols under $700 to steer clear of?

A friend has about $600-700 for a handgun. He wants a 1911 in 45 ACP as he fell in love after shooting mine. But I'm trying to get him to be a little more open-minded, both for the style and caliber. My AMT 1911 and his father's Intratec Tec-22 are the only handguns he's fired. He's looking to...

    45 ACP/GAP SD bullet weights

Is there any benefit to using the lighter weight bullets? Seems like the 230 grn bullet is the bullet for a 45 cal handgun.

    What caliber AR for hogs?

I'm interested in a 16-20" AR that has the umph for hogs out to 350 yds. I'm on a mouse's budget. Eventually I'll be getting into reloading. I've excluded the WSSM's and the 30 Rem AR due to cost/availability of brass. I feel the 5.56mm is a little anemic but have included it anyway. So the...

    MOA

    I thought that MOA was say 1" @ 100, 2" @ 200, and 4" @ 300. I saw on a thread that it was 1",2",3". I thought it doubled.

    Picatinny Rail

I overheard a guy telling his friend that he can take the scope off of the rail, use the sights, and put the scope back on and still be zeroed. I don't believe this at all. I've never heard of any system where you can do this.

    Olympic Arms AR

I've heard that Olympic Arms AR's are inaccurate junk. Anyone have experience with them? I'm interested in the 6 x 45mm (cheap and easily found brass w/ a bullet better designed for medium game). I cannot find any other manufacturer that has the 6mm as an option.
