    OK i went back and bought the S&W 4046,while i was there i was talking to a frind of mine and he thinks i should have it ingraved.If i do this will it ruin the worth of the gun and about how much would it cost me to ship it to S&W and have it done or should i have it done locally.

    Smith & Wesson 4046 .40S&W

    I think i found a good deal but i am going to ask ya'll if it is worth it or not before i buy it.It's a S&W 4046 40 cal thats at least 98% lnib and really clean with 2 12 round clips for $300.00 dollars.I haven't shot it but i have held and played with it.     Essex frames

    S&W question

    I was in my local gun shop and ran across a S&W 686 7 shot pre-lock with a 4 inch barrel.It was dirty but otherwised in good condition.The question i have is about the price,$599.00 out the door.Should i go back and buy it or should i walk away.I already have a 686 6 shot.:confused:

    Best Home Defense Shotgun

    mossberg 500 I agree that you don't need a pistol grip for a shotgun.After firing my mossy i couldn't fathom shooting it with a pistal grip,but then i also use winchester 400 grain platnuim tips along with 3 inch 00 buck.Now on my wifes 410 i have a youth stock on it but thats about it.
