I love shooting my old P-38. It's as tight today as when it was first made back in 1941 (That makes it even older than me;)). And when you bring it out at a range you're immediately swamped by the folks that want to try it.

It's a Colt. Last patent date is July 4, 1905. Serial numbers all match and are 88xxx. It has a custom front sight and grips. The emblem inlaid in the grips appears to be gold. Signs of hand wok on the grips, paticularly inside.

Here's an early S&W mod-28 with the 'S' pre-fix serial number and a Kit Carson large #4 folder. and an Unfired 1926 Police Positive in 38S&W with my old Don Greenaway folder. and my 230 with Terry Primos A$$-kickin Dress Tactical. Love this knife.
