Other than pricy why wouldn't you want the extra 100 - 200 fps? Does it reliably cycle semi autos? Downside?

How is accuracy these days? I had a BAR 7mm RemMag long ago, and its accuracy was 1 - 2" at 100 which didn't endear the rifle enough to keep, but that was decades ago.

Decades ago one would hear / read a lot about this. Has it been debunked or is / was there an element of truth to it?

What accuracy out of the box with good ammo can be expected?

My experience is with my mom's .243 with which I killed a meat doe when I was 8. How accurate are these? What is the most accurate caliber? Are 300 any good? That sees to be the most common chambering.

Anyone have one or shoot one? Its like an RPK only drum fed instead of magazine. LGS has one and its very cool. I wish it was a registered full auto but then it would be ultra rare and like 60k. I'm sure it's bumpable.

CZ or Ruger? Others? preferably lefty, does any big retailer have good lefty selection? Which action is slicker between CZ and Ruger?

That barrel swaps to several calibers in the same family. Example: .308 family, .243, 6.5 Creedmoor, 7mm-08. Preferably semi but bolt or other is ok. I think Kreighoff makes a pump that transforms calibers. Maybe its cheaper to have 2 or 3 rifles (but it need not necessarily be).
