Well I have two. 1st one is the Browning HP my dad gave to me in the early 60's.
the 2nd, is My auntes deceased Husbens .45 Remington Rand that he carried in WWII and Korea. I hardly knew him. He died and months later my Mom was helping my Aunte clean out her house to move closer. I get this phone call........my Mom saying they had this old handgun and did I want it. I said sure, and that I would pick it up later in the year when I drove out. I'm thinking some cheapie revolver..........2 weeks later a UPS package arrives from Phoenix AZ(I lived in Chesapeake Va then.) Wraped up in some old laundry is a US Army shoulder holster with a pristine US Army Remington Rand .45.
I called them back and told them it was a rather expensive collector weapon, they said "keep it!" Its sitting out in the safe as we speak.

My grandpa's Fulton 12 gauge. Manufactured 1909. I finally talked by 80 year old uncle out of it last fall. I had been trying to get one of my grandpa's firearms for 30 years!

Mine is a Winchester 52 sporter, not an A, B, C, or D . It is an original 52 with a very low 3 digit serial #, and yes I shoot it very often. :D

All of our family heirloom guns that I was able to save from the socialist pigs in MA

Dearest of which are (in no particular order) my dad's Parker 12ga. & my dad's Deluxe (takedown) Model Winchester 1895 in .405 W.C.F.

Favorite guns

I am stuck on Parker-Hales. I have a 308 and a 25-06. Sold a Ruger to get the 25-06 glad I did.

Winchester Model of 1897 shotgun. It looks like it just came out of the box, it's 16 gauge, and it was Grampa's.

For sentimental reasons,I guess it would have to be my Stevens Mod.44 .22LR.It was originally my Great Grandfathers and was given to me by my Great Uncle, who was my Godfather.I've had it about 35 years now,and It starting to need some work on the chamber since it splits a case now and then, but I never shoot it anymore,I just take it out, clean and oil it and remember.

For me, it's my Yost 1991. What started out as a stock gun was butchered by a local smith when I asked him to install new internals and a beavertail. When he was done, the gun was so badly damaged I didn't know if it could be saved. Ted saved that pistol and made it something special.

Every time I look at that pistol, I'm reminded of the interactions I had with Ted and how much time and effort he went through to pull that pistol back from the abyss. I can't say enough good about him and his abilities.

Of course, my grandad's lever-action .38-55 Winchester is pretty special, too.

I am proud to own each and every one of them. They are the physical manifestation of my firm support of the inalienable human right of self defense.

My current favorite is a 1970 Smith & Wesson Model 19 Combat Magnum.

I don't technically "own" it yet as it is on layaway, but mine will be the S&W model 28-2 3" bbl that I found in a shop two weeks ago.
