Precision, High Qualitiy Pistols

Smith just doesn't build them quite like that anymore.

Nope and, sadly, given the priorities made to plastics, cheap builds and the general lack of appreciation of fine workmanship, good materials and a quality finish by today's shooters, I rather doubt they ever will again. :(

What do all these fine pistols have in common.....mucho$$$$$$$'s !

I like high quality equipment as much as anyone but trouble is I got to compromise to keep a reasonable budget and hand fit & precision quality guns can not be had for what most people are willing to pay for them ! It is on my wishlist to own an all steel semi auto 45 pistol that is capable of shooting 1" groups at 50 yards ,can pass an extreme durability test , and will look better than any other pistol on the market....costing about $ 850 ! ;)

I think a great one out there, surely not the most expensive but just a great all around- Glock gen4 22! And one of the best looking also.
