New CZ sig P365 coming out today

The 1.1” width on the XL is because the base of the grip is flared for easier magazine insertion. The majority of the grip is 1”. You can mount a light to the XL. The new Streamlight TLR7 Sub and the SureFire XSC have versions specific to the P365 line of pistols (all of the micro pistols are too narrow for the traditional weapon lights).

Edit: this isn’t an argument that the P365XL is perfect, as I don’t think it is. I’m just trying to add information.

It's called the "world's most tolerant country."

Been there. You might be googling that the leadership is conservative, but the country is liberal in every way. No sin taxes, they travel, they are tolerant in law, constitution, etc.

Like most large populated areas, areas like Prague are extreme "american" liberal.

The most recognized handgun in the world comes from Austria which is one of the most liberal countries in the world. FN Herstal because Herstal is the socialist town that owns the company (including Browning). Heck, the US is one of the most liberal countries in the world and has guns.

Scariest situation the wife and I have ever been was 3 years ago in the world's most conservative country. We were at a coffee shop, stepped outside with an American friend that lives there, and walked right into the start of a spontaneous neo Nazi march in Krakow , Poland. Neo Nazis aren't allowed to say Nazi or Hitler, so they go around it by saying "father" and stuff like that. So we were right in the middle of a group singing about the father while looking to fight anyone around them. This aggressiveness and right wing hatred of all change was very present in Krakow and and Warsaw while we were there.

You are confusing your political opinion with "liberal vs conservative." If guns mattered, the US would be the most conservative country in the world.

I've decided Handgunhero is kinda fundamentally wrong. It takes a stock photo and zooms the photo to the factory dimensions. That scaling distorts everything in the picture.

Unless this is a perspective problem with a photo, you need to explain how "scaling distorts everything."

Align this comparison to see the issue. It's off.

'Look at this' is not a detailed explanation of "scaling distorts everything."

The guns are centered in their original photos. Guessing that "align this comparison" means aligning the guns' frames as in the screen cap below, there is no problem with scaling. Because the center of one photo has been shifted in relation to the other photo, there is a tiny difference in the angle of views of the two guns.

CZ P10F Competition is out now. UPC 806703951805 for those who want it.

1,000 dollars?

I don’t want it for $1000. For what at first glance don’t seem like dramatic changes to me I don’t see enough value added. For all I know though people will get it and it will be amazing. Locally I could buy an X5 Legion for $900.

The P10M was released several years ago before the Sig P365 in the Czech, didn't meet import laws. So it's not a new gun.
Now that CZ can make guns in the USA, why not release it even tho IMO it's a waste of production time/space and resources.

The competition model, sorry not for 1k when you can buy the vastly superior shadow 2 for 1100.
At 700 bucks yes but not at 1k. At least the Sig legion did something cool and innovative with its tungsten infused frame.

This CZ fanboy rolled over and went back to bed.

It came in to the FFL today, but I was unable to make it over to pick it up. Interestingly enough, it appears it did not come alone...

I wish that more companies would come out with double stack slimline .380 ACP Pistols like the LCP MAX because I have no interest in the 9mms, and if I did, then I would have already bought one of the many existing options.

Firearms manufacturers spend way too much time playing follow the leader and not nearly enough innovating or trying to tap otherwise untapped markets. Imagine if someone actually tried applying the same concept as these double stack slimline 9mm Pistols to other cartridges which haven't received such designs yet. Why not a double stack slimline .40, .45, or 10mm?

After carrying my G43 with Taran +2 mag bases relentlessly for the past year or so, yesterday I bought a 365 (after swearing I'd never give Sig another dime...sigh.)

The new CZ doesn't have me rethinking that purchase in any way. Same general outline, heavier, fewer rounds. Something about it would have to be 'better' to make me consider it, and I just don't see anything that is?
