CZ P-01 Information Wanted...All Kinds

For me so far...

Pro's:
Feels great in hand (with aftermarket grips).
Accurate.
REALLY well built/designed.
Functionally placed decocker/mag release/slide release.
Relatively soft recoil.
Points very naturally.
Nice to look at.

Cons:
Relatively heavy (compared to polymer guns).
Stock sights suck for visibility.
Trigger reach a little long in DA.
Decocker wears a hole in my right thumb with every shooting session.
Slide is a pain to rack (especially malf. drills). Stiff, little to grab onto, and sharp serrations.
Field stripping requires a "pusher" tool of some kind and is a little awkward.
Magazines "rattle" in gun when fully loaded.

Ganderson...Thank you for your information. Who's aftermarket Grips are you buying? That's one of the joys of this little pistol....different shoes seem to be available and a great variety too....Who do you like? Zeb

I have the CZCUSTOM.com Ultra-Thin Aluminums and a pair of Hakan Pek Ebony Xtreme grips.

Both are better than the stock rubber grips for me.
