I went to the gun store today and bought 200 rounds of 5.56 and a Caldwell Tac 30 mag loader. This thing makes short work of loading 30 round mags.

I ordered a set of Pachmayr Grippers for my wife's 637. They feel good and look good except for this.

My wife bought a new S&W 637-2 Airweight. It's only had around 20 rounds fired through it but the barrel leaded up like crazy. The ammo was PPU .38 Special. It didn't lead the barrel of my M&P. Is that common for a new S&W?

I spotted this early M&P at the LGS. From what I can find it was made in 48. It's a little rough but the action is nice and tight with virtually no end shake. The bore is nice and shiny with no pits. My first shot with it I nailed a Coke can at around 30 feet. That's always a good sign.
