I have used Springer plates in the past on other pistols, they have set screws to hold the plate in the dovetail, whereas others rely on the pound and hope fit. Does anybody else make a set screw style optic plate for 1911's?:cool:

Nil Griff offers a very expensive oil/finish for his grips, plus it is in Germany, which makes it more expensive delivered here. Anybody have an alternative to this? For those who don't know them, they make really nice competition pistol grips.:cool:
