Just been back in shooting after many years. I load with a Dillon 550. The subject of case length on my 45's never came up years ago, and I don't see that topic today. Is there a real need to trim cases?, as long as it goes in the case gage, doesn't that take care of any concerns?

I have a few, Sig 220 and CZ97, but as a gun nut (certifiable) would be interested in collecting different makes especially all metal heavy target style 45s. I got rid of my HK expert, which was close but no cigar. I only shoot targets, and don't see any other shooting in my future.
