I have said I went from a 45 as my one and only to a 9mm but now find myself drifting back. So, a 1911 or maybe the 220 Sig which I think its a fine pistol. Thoughts?

The Springfield 1911 is a very nice one indeed. The ones at my gun shop are either lightweight, aluminum I guess or steel and one is four inch barrel. Really what does the Pro have that i have to have. What is your choice?

I went through a few 1911's and then just stopped. Now I want back and am going to ask advice. I like the Ruger, tough to find, but still like the Sig, the SW and Colt of course. Which would you choose in a re-do?

After being off the 45 for a bit, Now I am confused, again. Ruger has a really nice 1911 and I now see more articles favoring the 45 over the nine. I know it is one of the longest utilized combat cartridges ever but that 45 is tugging my soul again. Just how much diference is there?

My local guy got in his first and now his only Ruger 1911. He has it priced at $699.00 and swears he is not taking a cent less even though he says they will shake out in the next few months around $650.00 or so. A tad high for me right now, but is the norm?

Just went to the gun show and came back with a new Kahr PM9. i really like these pistols but admit I really don't know much about them. History, reliability or value. By the way they are not cheap. Is there a place to learn or can someone help me?

I mean it is going smaller in the world now. I have my LCP and just traded fro a Kahr P380. Don't know much about Kahr but what I have read is pretty good. I even traded a great one, a Sig 232. Hope the Kahr is more than I expect.

Okay, first just know I have both but have to say I have full confidence in the Sig and maybe not sure on the Ruger LCP. It is a 232 stainless and I love it but I know it is larger. How much? Not sure and maybe I am just paranoid. How does everyone feel about the Sig and the Ruger? Just fine...
