I am thinking of a purchase of a NIB S&W mod 337. I want a hammer on my snubs. Owners/Shooters opinions please. Thanks.

Why does it seem nowadays that everyone has to have a minimum of 357mag cal in their snubs? Whats wrong with 38spl +P? I do not want to have to fire a 357 snub at close quarters or in an auto without hearing protection even in an emergency! Perhaps a different handgun purchase for deer hunting...

I have decided on the Ruger SP101 357 in 3in barrel. I will put a set of the Eagle oversize ebony grips on it. I hope these don't interfer with a speedloader. Anyone use these grips on a SP101 that could share the likes/dislikes? I have chosen the 357mag model although I will mostly feed it...

I keep reading about how Colts get out of time a lot vs Smith or Ruger. Can someone explain to me in a technical sense why that is or is it an urban legend?

Can someone point me to a source for the dark brown factory wood grips that I see in some mags. At least I think they are factory as they have the Ruger emblems. Some are so dark they are almost black in color.
