I dont have a Chronograph, but was wondering if anyone could figure a velocity for me. Remington Coreloct .308 out of a Bolt Action Rifle with a 16.5" Barrel. Will it be about the same as a Model 94 30 30?:rolleyes:

I have a Yugo 24 47 Mauser, I like it alot, but hate the sights, I decided to put a Scout Rail on it, (Because I do not want to permanantly alter the gun) And am wondering, Does it matter if I use a True Scout Scope, or a Pistol Scope? And what do they mean by Paralax set at 50 yards?

I am wanting to improve the sights on my 24 47 without irreversably modifying the rifle. I have been looking at the MOJO peep sights on the internet. Does anyone use these sights? Are they any better than the original sights?

I use one, and think its awesome, just wondering if anyone else out there likes this Shotgun? I like the Controlles better than any other shotgun I have ever used.

Today I fired my 24 47 Mauser @ about 175 Yards. I hit high and to the Right. I was using Wolf Gold 196 Grain Soft Points. My Front Sight is Drifted to the left. Do I drift Further Left or Right on the front sight? The Rifle Grouped nicely but about 6 Inhes to the right.

Does anyone know how to load an 8MM Mauser Cartridge, with a Soft point hunting bullet that will duplicate the trajectory of the military cartridges that were used with the 98k Mauser?

I have noticed that everyone is making AR 15 Style Rifles, and the are all very high. It looks like as flooded as the market is getting with them that they would start to get cheap. Anyone else ever thought about this. :rolleyes:
