    Another Tauri With Pics

I just picked this up today. The price was too good to pass up and the piece has a 3" barrel which is hard to come by. I'm shooting it tomorrow and we will see if it has a future with me. This gun is made of AA and the manual does not indicate it can handle +p ammo. My M85 UL is +p rated so...

    A Better .357 Than The SW 66

Now I ask you, is there a better discontinued .357 still on the market today than the Smith Wesson Model 66??? I have 2 with the 4" Barrel, and 1 with a 2 1/2" barrel. The 2 1/2" is perfect for me it fits my hand, a 'K' frame chambered for .357magnun/38Spl, and holds 6 rounds. Finishwise these...

    Problems With SW M36

Before I take this pretty little sucker to the gun smith I thought I should ask those of you who may know this gun for help in fixing it. I bought this online about 10 days ago, and since that time I've had problems with the cylinder not opening. Once in a while the cylinder will open but...

    Shooting Stupidity

It's been a few years since I last fired a .44 Mag. So today I took my new SW 629 Mountain Gun to the range for it's first work out. The first 24 rounds I was all over the place with it. I've been too busy to have my handgun bench rest filled. So today I used the table to bench test the gun...

    Information on SW M29-2

I need some information on this SW M29-2. I purchased it on Auction Arms, and I picked it up two days ago. I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. The action on this gun feels more like a single action colt than a double action SW. The hammer pull is very light and easy. The thing I can't...

Great Western or Charles Daly 1873

I'm tired of waiting for a New Vaquero SS. From what I'm been able to learn the demand is overwhelming, and production can't keep up with it. So I called my dealer today, and asked for availability, and price on the EMF Great Western ll, nickle, 4 3/4" Brl., and the Charles Daly 1873, SS, 4...

    Smith Wesson Finish

I just bought a SW M629 Mountain Gun. I don't know anything about metal. My concern is the frame area around the cylinder is either unfinished or a different metal. Should I be concerned...? Many thanks

    Rossi Piece of Junk

A while back I criticised Rossi's as being junk. My apologies! Well, temporary at least until I get to shoot this thing. I picked it up this morning for under $200. I figured I can't go wrong. The former owner didn't know the barrel should be cleaned once in a while!!! The only problem I...

    H & K USPc

I have a USPc, 9MM, that is just gathering dust, because of my recent infatuation with revolvers. I'd like to trade it for a SW629 Mountain Gun. I've had this piece for quite some time, cleaned & lubed after each use, TLC. I noticed some of the popular gun auctions, have current high bids...
