I forget things and today didn't begin well. I took my new Beretta PX4 to the range. I had planned on a very long shooting session and a very short range report. This will be very short because I forgot (again) and only took one box of 9mm ammo with me... For the past three months I...

    Revolver Make Overs

I don't like the feel of rubber grips and some of the older model Smiths 'K' frames have the factory original skinny medalion grips. Some of the older Rugers came with rubber grips. I have average size hands and I have always liked the feel of smooth wood. So, off with the old and on with the...

    686 Porn

The first thing I did when I brought this gun home was to remove the cheap rubber grips and order a pair of Eagles. My smooth Eagle Heritage grips came in today so I'm posting some porn and inviting you of like mind to join in. This 686 has not yet been fired. But if it shoots anywhere near...

    Beautiful Revolver, Possible Lemon

A little while back I picked up a SW Model 586 NIB. It is aboslutely beautiful. The first time at the range I had trouble ejecting the cartridges and finally two of them froze in tight so I couldn't get them out. I later pulled them out with a grip wrench, and not very easily. I then cleaned...

    SW 629mg

    Addicted, Brand New 586-7

I should have bought the 586-3 used for half the price, but I didn't. I bought this limited edition and hope to have it in my sweaty paws sometime next week. Didn't any of you see this on Auction Arms? Why didn't you bid on it??? Just once, instead of leaving it there for me??? What can I...

Smith Wesson Models & .357 Loads

Obviously I'm not a gun expert like some of the folks on TFL, but I hear the comment 'SW model 19, or model xx, was never intended to be fed a steady diet of 357 magnum rounds' quite a bit. My question is why not? Why would a gun manufacturer build a gun chambered in .357, when the gun wasn't...
