How reliable is the M&P (esp in 9mm)? I’m thinking of picking one up... I’m shooting reloads $95% of the time and make one ammo for all my nines. :) How picky is the gun about ammo?

Starting load for HS-6 240gr JHP bullet is 12gr. I’m using 245gr copper plated/ CMJ. Is it safe to down load to say 10gr? I know .44spl max load (240cast) is 8gr… PS: I know I can use other/ligher load powders but would like to stay with HS-6 for now...

My Raging Bull has gas expansion chamber where the porting is, but I was never sure what it does exactly. Does it reduce noise by making the gases expand before they leave the barrel?
