    Cowboy Rig for S&W 686's

I got a S&W 686 with a 4 inch barrel. Shot some of my earlier reloads (before I knew how to do a good crimp) and got some powder jammed under the crane, thought the gun was broken, and sent it back to S&W. Somewhere it got lost, and before they found it, I had bought another one. Now I have two...

    S&W Tactical Question

I have a 3913 Tactical. It has the sight rail, which I'm really not thrilled with for a few reasons: I don't care for the way it looks, I don't use it, and it prevents me from using regular 3913 holsters. Two questions: (1) can someone recommend a good holster for the 3913 with the sight rail...

    Rohrbaugh

Are they for sale? Has anyone actually seen one? How are they? How much do they cost? How can I get one? How does it compare to the Kahr PM9 and PM40?

    38 Special Problem. Please help

I'm loading .38 specials on my Dillon 650, using HS-6 powder and West Coast 125 grain Bill Mueller bullets. The gun gets real dirty real fast, and there is a lot of unburnt powder after just a few rounds. I think this may be from shots fired by primer after not having ignited all or most of the...

    Renegade Ankle Holster Question

I just got my Renegade ankle holster in the mail, but it's too big for my ankle. It seems to have 3 panels of velcro, and I'd like to cut one or two off to make it fit better. My question is if it is designed to do this, or if I need to take it to a tailor to sew up the end so it won't come...

    Match barrels more accurate?

Are aftermarket barrels more accurate than standard barrels? I was shooting my Colt Gold Cup next to my Para-Ord P13.45, and my Colt was much more accurate. Granted, the Colt has an extra 3/4 inch barrel and sight radius, and a better trigger, but would an aftermarket barrel make much of a...

How often do you carry your gun?

I carry a gun almost all of the time. Pretty much the only time I'm not carrying is when I'm at the courthouse, bars, etc. On the other hand, I know people that only carry when they go to "bad neighborhoods", only at night, etc., or who never carry. How about you?

    Kahr PM40

I was at the range/gunshop today, and the guy that works there who I always BS with said that Kahr has a PM40 (or PM4). He may have even said he's seen one. I told him that there is no such thing, at least not yet. I told him the PM9 has just come out, and that those are very rare. I also told...

    Mini 9's and 40's

I've got a Kel-Tec P-11 and a Glock 27, I'm toying with the idea of a Kahr PM9, I'm waiting on the Rohrbaugh, and I've vaguely heard of the Lafrance Nova. My question is if anyone knows of any other similar guns on or about to come out on the market.

    Renegade Ankle Holster for Kel-Tec

I finally broke down and ordered a Renegade ankle holster for my Kel-Tec (the one with the thumbbreak, model 53). I've searched the threads, and everyone seems to approve of this holster. My question is specifically with regard to the Kel-Tec P11: Has anyone used this holster with a P11, and how...

    The Gun Kahr Should Make

While I haven't shot or even seen one in person yet, I'm very impressed by the new Kahr PM9 (the polymer framed sub-mini 9mm). However, I would love to see Kahr come out with one of these in .40 caliber with a lightweight titanium/scandium slide. It'd be the perfect carry gun. I did email...

    My revolvers are jamming

I had to send my S&W 686 and my Colt Python back to the factory recently. For some reason, the rear of the barrels are rubbing against the fronts of the cylinders, to the point that they bind up. I guess the term for that is that the "flash gap" has become too small. My question is if anyone one...

    Titanium Walther P99???

Have any of you heard of the "Titanium Coated" Walther P99??? Check out this Link: http://www.auctionarms.com/search/displayitem.cfm?ItemNum=3154225 I thought it was some cheesy auction seller trying to sell a regular P99 as a "titanium" gun, however, the gun appears to state "Titanium...

    Help dating S&W 66

I'd been looking for a new (actually older, but new for me) S&W model 66 with wood stocks and a 4 inch barrel. I found one in like new shape at the gun show, and for $300 out the door, couldn't resist. It's a 66-2. The partial serial number is ADT75XX. Can anyone tell me what year this gun was...

P7 Owners: Too hot to handle?

How many rounds can you put through your P7 (P7PSP, P7M8, P7M13, or P7M10) before it gets too hot to comfortably fire any more. I've found that about 40-50 rounds is about all my P7M13 can handle before it gets too hot. Also, are there certain types of ammo that don't heat up the gun as much...

    P7M13 Question

My P7M13 has been jamming lately. After about 30 rounds, the slide starts to get stiff, and eventually it won't even open fully. I've been shooting reloads (my reloads; Hodgdon HP-38 powder), and am concerned that maybe some powder is getting into the gas system (the guy at the range told me the...

    Best Model 66???

Which is the best S&W Model 66 with a 4 inch barrel? I'm looking for one, and I know I want the 4 inch barrel and the wood grips. What I'm not sure about is which one. I know I don't want the new ones with the lock. I've heard about the "pinned barrel and recessed cylinder", although I'm still...

Don Hume or Greg Kramer Ankle Holster?

Has anyone tried either of these ankle holsters? If so, for which guns, how comfortable, how well made, etc.? Thanks.
