Here's the deal. I've taken my Garand out a couple times and the top handguard is sweating oil like crazy. It's also lighter than the other pieces. The stock itself is really rough and generally pretty dirty. I don't want to do a full clean/oil job, but need to do something with that...

Trying to feed my new Garand, looks like RVOW is out of business? Any other recommendations where I can get inexpensive projectiles? I'd consider casting lead, but concerned about buildup and feeding issues.

Can anyone suggest where I can buy some basic bullets for the Garand I plan to buy? Tossed around the idea of just buying ammo from the CMP but decided in the long run it would be better to just reload for it. Not looking for match grade, just something to send down the barrel...cheaply.

Not sure what I should do about this. Started to get some jams with my Sig 220 that NEVER has issues, and I attribute it mostly to the lube. Just how thin can I get this stuff and it still keep the barrel from leading?
