I do usually because I have full trust in my reloads for SD and I have had misfires with factory ammo in the past. Just wondering if anyone else carries reloads? I have no reason not to that I can think of, plus I can tailor the load to my performance needs.

Just got back from the shop where I picked up this Model 60. It is a .38 special with no lock as you can see. The gun locks up so tight it is scary. Trigger is very heavy, but is very smooth as well. I can't wait to shoot it.

I was just looking at their website and it does not appear that they use different bolt lengths for short action calibers and long actions. What gives? Why would I buy a short action caliber if the action itself would accomodate a longer cartridge. Is this a cost saving thing for them?
