    ouch...recoil

After multiple shoulder surgeries I had restricted myself to a Remington G-3 (1100) 20ga. Fits me great and is a fine shooter for pheasants. But I miss a 12ga. Any one have a suggestion for a soft recoil 12ga semi auto? Thanks.

    1911 Remington

My new son in law asked me how to make his trigger "feel" right. I know, a wide open question. I believe it might be trigger length as he is 6'6" @ 285 and a former Marine. Any suggestions? THX.

    257 Robt...

As these times are hard as far as obtaining reloading supplies are concerned, I notice I have several boxes (my reloads) of .257 Roberts. I no longer have this rifle but do have a sweet custom 6mm built on a 98K Mauser action. It would appear I could run the Roberts rounds through a 6mm die and...

    Contender

My older style Contender will not ignite primers. All very light indents. Not headspace as I have tried several different barrels. Not hammer spring, installed new one. Any one have a brilliant idea?

    1911 recoil spring

Shooting a Colt Series 80 45acp for PPC competition and need a replacement recoil/slide spring. What weight spring would you use for a 200gr cast lead SWC at approx. 825f/s?

Colt Gov't model series 80 SS

Last night while competing in a PPC match, the slide on my 45 jams closed on a live round. Yes a reload. New barrel (Ed Brown) and link, full length guide rod, very accurate weapon. The slide is tight.

    G-3

Having trouble reaching Remington. I need to replace the action bar assembly on my 20ga Remington G-3 (1100). All I see on Brownells are action bars for either lightweight or standard. Have no idea which would be correct for the G-3.

    Canadian moose

My most accurate rifle is a 7x30 Waters. 1/2" MOA all day long at 100yds. At 139gr it seems to be a bit light for moose. Any thoughts? Otherwise I plan to use my .358 Bellm w/ 225gr Nosler partition...which is a 444 Marlin case necked down to 358.

    Thompson Center Contender

First time my Contender failed to group well. Firing a .358 Bellm in a 19" barrel. This is an early model Contender that is extremely accurate with .204 Ruger and fantastic in 7x30 Waters. Any ideas?

    Bison

Just found out my daughter cannot eat beef with the exception of venison and bison. Lots of venison but now have an excuse for a bison hunt. Anyone ever hunt bison? I was thinking of using my Contender with 19" rifle barrel in .358 Bellm (444 necked down to 358). Fires 210gr linotype cast...

    1911 slide locking

My Colt 80 series Government model (stainless) slide does not retract fully; it jams and cannot move forward. Tapping the muzzle end of the barrel down releases the slide moves forward. What the heck is this about? The gun has at least 300,000 rounds through it and is usually extremely...
