    not coming to battery

    My ColtGov't mod 80 at times does not come to battery as the slide does not travel all the way forward. Would a heavier slide spring be the way to go? I am shooting reduced load (185gr @ 850f/s) and will incr to 900 f/s.

    Does anyone know how to remove the wooden stock from a Ruger mini-14? I removed the wooden hand guard and the screws on both sides of the stock but cannot remove the stock from the barreled action. Appears to be hung up at the magazine well. THX.

    Does any one know the rate of twist for a .444 Marlin 22-inch bbl manufactured in 1982? It has a micro-groove barrel and I would like to reload using hard cast lead 300gr bullets and am concerned with stabilization. THX.

    Anyone have a particular shell case they use that does not deform? That mattered little in my SXS but in the G-3 it's a no-no.

    I have a WW II Browning Hi-Power circa 1942 made in Belgium. The magazine is a bit sticky and does not drop out smoothly from the grip. I've cleaned everything very well but still have the problem. Any ideas? :confused:
