I'm looking at the DOJ "approved" list from the DOJ website. http://justice.doj.ca.gov/safeguns/safeguns.asp They have a pulldown menu of the guns approved and the menu has NO Rugers listed. Is this real or just normal mismanagement of a government boondoggle? :confused:

I had a trigger job done and told em to take out the mag safety. Yesterday I put it back in. The pull before break is much harder, but the actual break after takeup is just as good. WITHOUT the mag safety, it is much faster to shoot multiple targets. Seems to even lighten the pull a bit. But...

I notice that from a distance, shotguns often make a different sound from rifles or pistols. A "Ta-pop" or "ka-wap" whereas the rifles and pistol shots from a distance are a uniform single pop or blast. Anyone know why? :confused:

I just noticed. I haven't seen any short stocked shotguns lately. Did a law get passed? Are they still legal? Like the old "Snake Charmer" or a Topper with the stock cut down. :confused:
