I'd like to get a more secure holster for my K9 than what I've been using, probably thumb snap. However most gun stores don't carry Kahr specific holsters, and it's not like I can take it out and try out a few. Can someone confirm if a 3-4" 1911 holster will fit? Anything else?

I'm discovering Universal may not be the best powder for the Lee 200gr SWC in 45 ACP. I suspect it is too slow as I keep getting FTE even at higher charges and it just nets me shotgun patterns off a rest. An RO friend said he's had great success with Clays. I'll look, but can't remember...

CZ 97b, 230gr LRN or 200gr SWC. Both do it. The extractor has been thoroughly cleaned so I don't see it being the problem. Sometimes the fired case is facing forward but mostly backward. The charges are about middle/upper range, not max though.

Lee 452-200, for my CZ97b. 6gr Universal powder and seated to 1.240" which is the longest it'll pass the plunk test. I have a slight taper crimp as well. They seem to chamber fairly smoothly and I plan to test them tomorrow for accuracy.

I've put nothing but my own lead bullets through my 97b and now that CGW did this for me... ...I want to realize it's full accuracy potential using JHP or whatever has been the most accurate in your match gun. I currently have Universal powder but open to suggestions.

This is some sort of steel case Berdan primed surplus, nothing unusual about that. However I found five of these at the range today and for the life of me I cannot figure out what this deep groove is or what rifle was used.
