I bought this tumble lube mold a couple years ago but soon switched to the regular 452-228-1r for reasons I can't remember. I wore out the 228 and have another on order, but it's been backordered for three weeks. Anyone have decent results with the TL mold? I need to start casting soon.

I'm loading 228gr LRN and using Bullseye. My Lyman manual shows 5.0gr as a max charge, 815fps at 14,400 cup. Other powders listed have the same bullet at 964fps and 17,300cup. Any reason why 5.0 is a max charge with such a low pressure?

I've been using a Lee 155 mold for my CZ carbine, sized to 311. It has been my experience most Lee molds are slightly oversized, so wondering if anyone has tried the lighter 308 molds, say in the 125gr range.

Probably more of a generalized recoil question, but I found my G21 to have less recoil than the much heavier CZ I now have, same exact handloads. Will the stiffer 16# recoil spring I just ordered help with this?

Fire 100 factory FMJ, my gun looks fine. Put the same LRN with Universal, PB, 231 or Unique through it and I have to break out the picks and scrape off the buildup around the bolt face. The feed ramp looks like a skunk's back. Any powders out there that burn cleaner?
