    Have USAS-12's dried up?

Periodically, I look around to see what USAS-12's are out there actually for sale. I usually can find one or two for sale at any given time on various places on the internet. I know that a lot of these never got registered and were eventually destroyed and sold for parts. My interest is that...

    Beretta Gold Pigeon question...

I am looking for information on how the high relief engraving is done on the Beretta Gold Pigeons. I can't seem to find much about it. Is it hand engraved? Done by a machine? Or a combination of both. Also, is this style still in production? Any information is appreciated, thanks.

    Chiappa Tripple Threat

So, if I show up at a sporting clays course with a Chippa Tripple Threat (3-barrel O/U...sort of), do you think I can get away with it?

    Cheese-grater pistols

Cheese-grater guns; the ones that have the "tactical" rail milled into the underside of the frame. I don't like them! At first, I thought "no big deal - it's just an option". But, I see more and more guns being made with no option for the beautiful smooth frame guns without the clunky...

    Largest Capacity 9mm pistol?

What is the largest capacity (no extended magazine) traditional 9mm pistol ever made? Not including semi-auto versions of sub guns like the Sites Spectre, M10, UZI pistol, etc. The only one that comes to my mind are the Sig X-5 with 19+1. Is there any 9mm with factory mags that get above 20...

Who makes grips for Detonics Combat Master?

I'm looking for some interesting grips that would fit a Detonics Combat Master. Does anyone know who makes/carries these?

Reloadable .22lr - someone needs to invent...

It seems to me that someone could easily make a .22lr cartridge that can be reloaded or assembled. How about threaded brass tubes and screw-in primers. Or simple press-in primers. I can't believe this hasn't been invented yet!

    S&W 627 (8-shot .357) question

I thought that all 627's out of S&W's performance shop had the cylinders cut for moon clips. So, I saw this one one Gunbroker, and it doesn't have the cuts. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=501394752 Would someone more knowledgeable than I tell me if this is normal (and I...

S&W "Scandium" 327 Snubbies rain from nowhere...

All of the sudden Gunbroker is flooded with S&W 327 Titanium / Scandium snub-nose revolvers. Hardly 5 on Gunbroker over the last 2 years and now everyone has them for sale. BUT, no more Stainless 327's with the 2+" barrel - they've disappeared. I guess S&W had a huge production run of the...

Gen 1 Glock sells for $980...

Who says Glocks aren't collectible? A 1st generation Glock 17 just sold for $980 on Gunbroker with 23 bidders. This could be an interesting trend.

    No love for the Tavor???

I was just looking through gunbroker to see what Tavors are actually selling for. There are 330 Tavors listed for sale on Gunbroker......and a grand total of 7 bidders looking to buy one. The highest bid being $1,300. Supply and Demand economics tells me that these guns are priced way too...

    Lahti 9mm

I know very little about the various Lahti 9mm's, other than they look well made and possibly fun to shoot, especially for a WWII era gun. Does anyone have any thoughts or other information on these historical firearms? Can they handle modern 9mm?

    Semi-auto pistol with locking action?

Has any manufacturer ever made or designed a semi-auto handgun where the action can be locked to prevent it from cycling upon firing a shot. Basically, making the handgun a select-fire semi-auto and single-shot. I would expect that such a design would be for use with a silencer and/or possibly...

    Company: "7.62mm Firearms"...

Does anybody know anything about a company named "7.62MM Firearms"? They apparently make/sell forged receiver M1A's, at pretty decent prices. I've never heard of them - maybe this has been discussed before, but I don't recall seeing anything on them. Does anyone have one of their M1A's? How...

Full Dust Cover - what's the point?

There seems to be a trend toward putting full dust covers (extended frame) on higher end target guns and then charging a hefty price. My question is why? What's the point, other than some added weight? Looks? Is there any other purpose other than looks and maybe a little added weight? Who...

Pulling the trigger on a "restored" 1911...

I've decided to buy a restored 1911 with a mfg date of 1913. I have always wanted a nice, correct, complete example from 1912 - early 1913. I know the risks, the issues regarding restoration and the fact that it will not appeal to a number of collectors, etc. I am not under any delusion...

    Ugly Python on Gunbroker....

Any of you looking for an ugly shooter grade Python, there's one on Gunbroker for a hair under $1,200. No bidders so far. This one is going to need more than a factory fluff&buff to make it pretty. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=479663010 I think it would take about $600...

    Spitfire parts; outrageous prices!

I ran across some Spitfire 45 SMG parts while browsing on Gunbroker. Now, I know that these parts are not all that hard to get and that there are semi-auto open-bolt spitfires and/or eagle arms out there that sell in the 1000 - 1,300 range (which could be used for donor parts), but check out...

Where are all of the old Trilux Scopes?

One on ebay; one on gunbroker. That's it! There used to be tons of these trilux scopes available for FAL's, but they seem to have dried up? And, what's there is going for over $300. Are these worth the money?

    Changing revolver finish (stainless) question...

I like the finely brushed finish that most stainless Colt Pythons have (not the bright polished stainless). How hard would it be for a gunsmith to change the exterior finish on a S&W 627PC (dull bead-blasted finish) to something that resembles the finely brushed finish of a Colt Python, and if...
