The Browning Buckmark Camper is one of the few handguns I owned and later sold. It just wouldn't feed bulk .22 ammo.
I've shot and like Rugers, but those I know that own them say they are a pain in the butt to field strip.
I purchased a Berretta 71 and love it. It performs well with any ammo and is a breeze to field strip. Shorter barrel might be an issue for some but I love mine.
