For hunting Nosler closely followed by Hornady & sierra for target shooting

For serious target shooting, Sierra. For my rifles, there is NO equal.

For fireforming and general plinking, Hornady. None of my rifles like the Hornady bullets when I demand precision.

This is an unfair poll; I like all of the choices, and I use different bullets for different calibers and the criteria doesn't take that into account. They're all good.

The answer would depend upon the application. If I had to be held to only one brand to load in ALL my guns I would choose Sierra.

For mass produced bullets to be used in match loads I like Berger and then Sierra. My new fav 6mm match bullet is Precision Ballistics.

I think you'd have to go a long way to beat Nosler for hunting bullets.

When I say ALL - that would include handguns, for which a couple of these makers do not manufacture bullets.

I couldnt vote twice but I have had great luck with both Sierra and Hornady and both perform great in my black rifles.

I have had excellent results with Barnes, Hornady, Nosler and Sierra bullets but find I get to shoot more with Hornady.

I load for a few friends deer rifles and am having great success with Balistic Tips in .270, 7x57, and of course 30-06. Boy do they do a good job!
Having said that, enjoy it while it lasts, we live in a golden age of bullet design and manufacture. Look at the selection that we have now, everybody has numerous choices of truly great bullets to choose from. I am afraid that this will not last, so stock up while you can.
