Well, I had to go see for myself and you were right. Wow, those guys really, really love their AR's. I got to talking with one of them, who was carrying a nice little Sig, about AR's and cleaning. And he laughed at me. Apparently, he didn't mind too much.
I was also comparing the .22's - Mark III and Buckmark. My question is about etiquette. I know you're suppose to hand the gun over only after you've opened the action, and you should always personally inspect the receiver. But I was looking at the Mark III, and -
What's the etiquette for looking at the sights while trying out the grip, or shouldering a rifle? I was aiming for the ground when I was looking at the sights and seeing the grip felt in my hand. I made sure to keep my index finger outside the guard and asked for permission before wanting to dry fire. Is that okay?
