Yes 800x has its issues but work the problem and find a solution that works for you. I use 800x very heavily in 10mm because it is available and my Uniflow on my Pro2000 dumps charges that rarely vary more than 0.2. Normally +/- 0.1. Good enough for me.
The key for me is full dispenser, baffle, and lots of shaking during operation.
