The TSA's secret weapon

Let's rewind back to 1992 when Ramzi Yousef one of the participants of the 1993 WTC attack entered the United States. His partner Abu Barra was also there with a bunch of bomb making instructions in his luggage. Both of them had fake passports. Barra is put into detention by the INS and Yousef asks for political asylum and walks out of the airport. The INS took the bait and did what the terrorists wanted them to do. The rest is history.

Whats to keep terrorists from pulling the same scam again. I have no beef with the training which will probably weed out the amateur terrorists. What about the guys that are highly trained? Dont get lulled to sleep into thinking that this micro expression is the greatest thing since sliced bread and let your guard down in other areas.

You had to turn on laptops long before 9/11. Actually before 9/11 they always made me turn my pager and cell phone off and on to prove they weren't something bad.
