yes some +P is ok. just don't shoot +P regularly as it will wear the gun out faster than intended.

in 9mm, for defensive, I personally prefer 124g, but from what I have seen a lot of guys like 147.

Where can you find it?

Vista Outdoors (speer/federal) isn't producing it right now.

Literally one place with it (Alamo Ammo) and it's remainder amounts for $100 per box.

Vista Outdoors (speer/federal) isn't producing it right now.

Is that really true?

I have resorted to paying high prices on GunBroker. I paid $275 for 200 rounds of .38 special, then in another auction I paid $185 for 200 rounds of .38 special. Yes, I am well aware that those prices are beyond insane. But I ain't having much luck finding it in stores or on-line retailers. A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do...

I currently have 750 rounds of .45 ACP, 800 rounds of .38 special, 250 rounds of .380 ACP, and 250 rounds of .22 LR. That's my total supply until the shortage is over or until I buy more overpriced ammo from GunBroker.

Also, you aren't going to find 38/357.

The big manufactures aren't making it right now.

They certainly are so I'm not sure where you're hearing this rumor.
Our store has been getting regular shipments right up through two weeks ago.
Not in the usual "on-demand" types and quantities, but they are still filling orders.
