Stock grips on M25. Sacrilege or improvement?

The cylinders look too long for 45 ACP. They look like M29 44 mags.

The S&W M25 came in .45 Long Colt - or .45 Colt if you prefer, in addition to .45 acp.
I forget the dash number of the .45LC.

yup, you're right.

For some reason I never think of the M25 in 45 Colt.

The 25-2 is .45 ACP, and the 25-5 is .45 Colt. I've got both of them.

I came this -||- close to getting the Jerry Miculek when I was questing for the Target 1955 Model.

It was worth the wait. It is the MOST accurate ACP I've ever shot.

As has already been noted, my Model 25s were .45 Colt. Model 25-5, as I recall.

Has anyone TRIED the BK grips on an N frame?
Their website says the J,K,L adapter "works" on an N frame.

"Working" and "fitting good" can be mutually exclusive.

I've seen some adapters that leave a space at the rear where they are supposed to match with the frontstrap.



I like the small grips that are shown, but shoot, I'll try an adapter just to see if it improves anything.
