FYI , I think the OP has a very old picture of a GI Micro Compact. The Micro is the only gun in the "GI" line that has a lowered ejection port, if you look at gunbroker.com where they have actual guns an not just the stock photos you should be able to see the different slides.

yep you're right. the one i looked at had a lowered ejection port.
