spreader loads for sporting clays

thanks fastgame and fitasc for your thoughts. my gun shoots tight patterns for sure. I did get a new buffer in it.
.... I was hoping to get a barrel from nuline. but they say they are too busy to rib it and open up the choke.
....I might just have to send it off to some one else for the additional work. the existing barrel works for my trap shooting and I am reluctant to risk changes to it. bobn

You have three options

1. Shoot full choke, try the spreader loads and see how they pattern. They were designed for tight choked guns and they work a bit for me, they will not turn the trap gun into skeet gun.

2. Send barrel off for thinwall choke tubes. I bought 26" barrel with Briley thinwalls already installed, they work nice but I don't like the short barrel for everything so I switch between the long & short barrel. I got the 26" cheaper than I could get 26" IC barrel.

3. Buy the 28" mod barrel, it's the sweet spot for sporting clays. If you have time and no $ burning a hole in your pocket maybe a deal will pop up ?

Enjoy your Super 1, I have 3 of them now :D
