I haven't given up on shooting and still do so regularly. My buddy and I shoot indoors about once a week with our .22s.

I've also enjoyed teaching grandkids and others to shoot rifle, shotgun, and handgun. We have 7, and 6 are old enough to do it.

My newest adventure is the .270 Win, Rem 700 CDL Stainless Fluted that just arrived last Saturday. It's now pillar-bedded and hopefully it will shoot as well as my other deer rifles. It's the nicest looking deer rifle I've ever had, and, at 7.0 lbs. (sans scope), just the ticket for walking around in my favorite deer areas during early November. It may even take a coyote or two.

I might shoot in a few more turkey shoots, but have run the gamut of formal competitions and though my shooting skills are still sharp, and shooting is fun, don't feel the need to be in formal competitions. (At least until the next new competition venue arrives.)
