Smoothest pumping shotguns?

My '93 Express will do that too. A little more polishing...

A slight shake opens the action, so maybe I'll quit while I'm ahead.

My early Express does this as well. It is actually smoother than almost all my old Wingmasters except maybe the '50 and the '56 that I shoot regularly.

The Remington Model 31 is very smooth, heavy though. I prefer the old Winchester Model 12. To me they cycle a little faster and handle better. 870 Wingmasters & Mossbergs are reliable but not anywhere near as smooth.

I also vote for the Browning BPS. I have an 870 too, and the BPS is waaaaay smoother. I love that gun.

+1 on the win. speedpump. I have a '18 marine defender and the more I shoot it the smoother it seems to get.

Of the newer models I have to agree that the BPS is the smoothest I have shot. The worst is a mossy 500.
