Side or bottom ejection

Side or bottom ejection, what's your preference in a pump shotgun?

As a target shooter, I prefer the bottom eject if I am going to use a pump. I hold it right over my shell pouch and do not even have to touch the empty on the last round. I have BPS in 12, 28, and 410 and just really enjoy shooting them.

Can you load from the chamber with a bottom eject? I guess that for sporting this would be OK, but not very useful for social situations.
