Wow! Some nice shooting posted here!

Here is a thread at THR of a snub nose SP101 2,25", shooting unsupported, standing, at 25 yards, DA pull each time and getting less than 3 inches in group size. Favorite part of range trip was meeting another forum member to go shoot and busting the myth that snub noses are inaccurate was just another day at the range.

Ugly Glock 30 -- very first ten shots out of a new gun that was bought by a good friend of mine. He gave me the honor of shooting the first magfull. 10 shots at 50', hand held in a dimly lit range -- first 5 shots, I thought I wasn't even hitting paper. -- I bought one of these ugly things a week later.

Again a snubby. This pic I took a few years back a S&W M&P from 1948 from 25 yards. I took a rest over sand bags. Fired single action.

Upper left 12 rounds of Black Hills 148 gr. 38 Spl. wadcutter.

Lower right 12 rounds of Speer 158 gr. 38 Spl.+P TMJ.

*All shots fired standing, 2-handed.

A not-so-good grouping from my P99C AS @ 7, 10, 15, 20 yards....

about

This one is not even really good.....but it is about as good as I do nowadays.
The top shooters clean these targets.
Shot at 50 ft., indoors, one hand unsupported....two strings of five shots each string fired in 10 seconds.

As you can see by the holster wear this is my carry weapon. Ruger SR45. I have 2500 rounds through her.

Five shots at 25 yards with irons. Nothing to brag about but it works for me.

Getting tired of emoji and emoticons?

Do something about it. I do.

I like to see photos of targets and here the details around the results. Maybe it is a particularly tight group or maybe it was your best rapid fire, or maybe it is your worst and you get a good laugh from it.

Targets? OK.

My Illinois CCW qual target.

I haul it out when internet gunboard pundits whine about how hard .40 is to work with.

The S&W M60-7 J frame "Ladysmith" shooting from 8 yards.

The top target was 15 rounds of Blazer 158 gr. LRN fired single action and the bottom 15 rounds of American Eagle 130 gr. TMJ fired rapid double action.

A few of my better targets. I throw the bad ones away. ;)

CZ75B .40 S&W, 20 shots @ 10 yards. Shots were fired at about 3 to 4 second intervals. Load was 7.3 grains of #7 over a 180 JHP...

First time out with the Kahr CW45. When I first started shooting this gun, it printed a bit low and to the right. As the range session went on, it seemed to correct (or, more likely, I seemed to correct), and the shots centered on POA. I've also got a CW9, and I've developed a real fondness for these little Kahr CW's.

I love a .44 Mag revolver. This one is a 5.5" Redhawk. Again, 20 shots of 200 grain JHP. Don't recall the powder charge. This target was shot in March, 2013, 20 yards, slow fire.
