As pictured with the suppressor and 50 rounds in the drum mag?

:p

I'll put it on the digital scale and post the weight later today

UPDATE:

The rifle weighs 19 lbs. as pictured... the drum mag alone weighs 5 lbs. 0.7 oz. with 50 rounds of Portuguese NATO surplus inside.

Thanks for the update SR420. Too heavy for my liking so I would just look at it lovingly and trailer it to the bench ;)

CQB-16-BFRS

Let's see your M14/M1A rifles!

I topped off my CQB-16-BFRS with an M4 from Aimpoint and I proud to announce that this build is complete.

Looks good 420. My two have stayed the same pretty much. SWFA 10X mil/mil scope replaced a Pentax 4-14. Smith bolt release and Sadlak mag release on both, few more mags.

The AR-10 has been the most shot rifle the past year. Got a great deal on 400 rds of 178 gr Win match ammo last summer. Been setting on it,temped to sell it with the crazy prices today. It's goona quit raining here in a few months so I can do some long range work.

MCB, I am in the process of consolidating my collection and my M14s will consist of the CQB-16 pictured above
and a long rang rig that's in the process of being assembled. The rest of my M14s have or will soon be sold off.
... As soon as Aimpoint send me the short screws for the mount, I will remove the spacer and cheek riser,
but that's the only change I have planned for the CQB-16.

only negative (and, it's not a biggie) has been the wear marks on the McMillan stock. you can see some marks and funky paint if you look close

That would be more manageable with some wheels attached to it! B E A utiful set up!

Wasn't there a South Park episode where the guys had to use wheelbarrows?

Thanks.
