Scoping a Marlin 1894

Here's a much better option for a red dot. A Burris FF3 on a Turnbull mount.

I almost went with that. I bought the other one on a whim one day, thinking the 2x magnification made it worth trying. I can do without it though. I do like the lower profile and all of that Burris.

I went with jmr40's suggestions (post #8)

Went to the SWFA site and got the Weaver mount and the Burris rings; per his links.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. Hopefully, this set up will work for me. We'll see. If not, I'll get something else later on down the road.
