My mom has the Sig P230 and a buddy of mine has the P232. They are great little guns and very nice to shoot. The recoil isn't bad at all (only .380) and the gun can be shot rapid fire very controllably. They are much nicer to shoot than Walther PPKs and that is what we actually traded in for my mom's P230. She had the stainless PPK and that seemed to kick a lot more than the Sig, even though it weighed more.
I find it a little weird that this model does not have an external slide release and the slide must be racked to drop it. The European mag release on the bottom also requires 2 hands to operate. If one hand is injured or occupied, that could be a detriment. If those items were omitted to make the pistol more "snag-proof", I can understand that. If that is the case, I would take it one step further and lose the decocker as well and just put Sig's DAK trigger on it.
