I'll stop using "pencil barrel" if people with Springfield Arms 1911's stop calling them "Springers". And not a second before!

What is this "Springfield Arms" of which you speak?!

I know of no such gun manufacturer.

I have a Springfield Armory "Loaded" Stainless chambered in 9mm.
But that's quite a mouthful, so I typically call it "the Springer."
