Remington 770 .30-06 good deal?

Jest get the Savage Axis, comes with scope, mag feed, better trigger, stock and more accurate.

Or just spend a couple more dollars and pick up the Savage Model 10 or 110 depending on the caliber at walmart for $387 with a scope. It is a much nicer rifle quality wise, as well as having the famous accu trigger that's great. IMO this is the best buy in this price range. I just don't think you can really beat it.

Thanks for the info. on the Rem 770. My son in law, and me are considering one each, but with all the neg. feedback I'm going to pass.
