So, you sound like you are against any kind of libertarian values. Does this mean you are OK with tyranny, as long as it's not perpetrated by the federal government?
I am OK with Virginians having control over Virginia. I reckon we can figure out what we consider to be tyranny. And I reckon we consider it tyranny for the federal government to defy its limits and rule over us like a monarch.
the Constitution did not give the Northern states the power or authority to end slavery or coerce the amendment of the Constitution to protect former slaves; that power came at gunpoint, based on moral authority.
I don't seem to see the morality in lily white States determining race policy for States that are half full of negroes, nor do I see the morality in their resorting to military force.
