Powder options for handgun loads

You missed the whole point of my post...... which was that using one powder for all applications is silly. Of course i don't use Trail Boss for everything.... I guess folks read what they want to.

And you missed the wink at the end of my quote... :)

I agree that higher volumetric densitities are better, but sometimes it's not practical. TG works pretty well in large cases even though the charge sometimes barely covers the base. That said, I've pretty well quit using Titegroup in favor of Unique or Universal in 'most all my handgun loadings these days.

I just use Win 231 for about all loads with the exception of 2400 for 357 mag and power pistol for 357 Sig.
