Well I'd never spend $700+ on a .22, but those little Kimber 1911s in .22 are cool! Now if my wife spent that kinda scrap I would'nt have a problem. ;)

More realisticaly I'd love to get a S&W 625 .45ACP with the 4" tube. With the financial decisions I made this year a Hi-Point will be more my speed tho. :(

Ah well, I can always dream of next year.

I have simple tastes in firearms:

Marlin .44 Mag lever gun

Marlin .30-30 lever gun

Remington 11-87 in 12 gauge

Simple tastes, classic guns.

Almark, I see we have similar tastes. I still need the .30-30, but I have the other three you mention. All are highly recommended.

Just something about a Garand. And the Makarovs are neat little pistols, you can't beat them for the price.

What 3 do I want?

A Mark 23. You can get at least 3 other decent handguns for the same price so I guess it evens out.
