Just an odd thought regarding the 4 rounds that were "stopped." Did they
hit something first like a brick wall right next to the knife wielder before
bouncing into the jacket?

And how deformed were the slugs? Or how far did they expand?

And how close together were the 4 bullets that were stopped?

All decent questions, ones for which we have no answers, currently.
I rather doubt we will get them.

Still it would be nice to know what they THINK happened beyond they "stopped in the jacket".

Sooo about that FBI protocol everyone gets so fired up about. ;)


Am I supposed to believe that 4 rounds hit the front of the jacket and stopped ala 30 carbine in Korea and still cycle the weapons? :confused:

Or am I supposed to believe that 4 rounds hit the front of the jacket and stop and Officer Friendly did the Tap, Rack, Bang Drill 4 times w/o dropping the mag for a fresh one? :confused:

Or am I suuposed to believe that 4 rounds went through the front, through a non critical part of the deceased, and get stopped on the far side jacket? :confused:

This article is WAYYYY short on facts.

"stopped on the far side of the jacket " Absolutely !! I've done it , more than once ! :D:D. Went through one side of the jacket , did lots of fatal damage then stopped against the other side of the jacket . The perps ? Deer of course !! :p:rolleyes:


The deer's skin is tough and very resilient !!! :)
